Have you heard of OCT?

CT Eye Care now have the OCT, Optical Coherence Tomography! This technology allows your eye care provider to view deeper retinal tissues beyond what can be seen with the naked eyes. The OCT is a non-invasive imaging technique utilized to screen and detect any abnormalities within the different layers of the retina, macula and optic nerve.

OCT images are crucial in diagnosing and monitoring retinal changes for many ocular conditions such as:

- Dry or Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD)

- Central serous retinopathy (CSR)

- Glaucoma

- Macular edema or swelling from post cataract surgery, vein occlusion, diabetes, hypertension and many more!
